KhUJ to hold reference for Minhaj Burna
PESHAWAR (February 06, 2011) : The Khyber Union of Journalists (KhUJ) has decided to hold a reference to pay homage to the services of the founder of the Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ), Minhaj Burna. The reference would be held in the last week of the current month. The date would be announced later.
This decision was taken in a maiden meeting of the newly elected cabinet of the Khyber Union of Journalists held here with its president Arshad Aziz Malik in the chair. Those who attended included general secretary Yusuf Ali, senior vice president Ali Hazrat Bacha, vice president Abdul Wadood Baig. joint secretary Umair Yasir, and executive members Mohammad Daud, Hassan Ali, Asad Khan, Diyar Khan, Sabtain Bokhari, Rizwan Sheikh, Amjad Ali Khadim and Aamir Ali Shah.
Different committees were constituted in the meeting for running the affairs of the union and Khyber Magazine Committee with the newly elected president Arshad Aziz Malik as its chief editor and Sharif Shukaib as editor. The consultative committee of the magazine would comprise of Amjad Ali Khadim, Yusuf Ali, Ali Hazrat Bacha, Rizwan Sheikh and Mohammad Daud.-PR
