FAISALABAD: The bodies of a man and his son were recovered from a power loom factory in Liaqatabad on Sunday.
Jhang Bazaar police said there were bruises on both bodies. They said both had been tied using ropes and tortured.
They had also been exposed to electric shocks several times. The bodies were sent for post-mortem examination.
The deceased were identified as Muhammad Khalid and son Muhammad Shahzeb. An FIR was registered on the complaint of Muhammad Mushtaq, another son of the deceased Khalid.
He said his father and brother had worked at Muhammad Boota’s power loom factory and suspected that Boota was involved in the murder.
He said his father and brother had not returned from work on Saturday night. When he went to look for them at the factory the next day, he said, he was told that no one had seen them.
He said he got suspicious and looked for them in several rooms before. He found the bodies in one of the rooms.
He said he called for help and asked other workers what had happened to them, but no one knew about it.
Police were informed and the bodies were sent for autopsy.
The Jhang Bazaar station house officer told The Express Tribune that four suspects, including Boota, had been arrested.
He said police were investigating the case.
