Rehmat Shah condoles death of Barna F.P. Report
PESHAWAR: Mr Rehmat Shah Afridi, Chief Executive and Editor-in-Chief of The Frontier Post, have expressed profound grief over the death of veteran journalist, a legend and a great hero of journalists, Minhaj Mohammad Khan Barna, who died in Rawalpindi on Friday after a prolonged illness. In a hurriedly called meeting of the staff of the Frontier Post, Mr Rehmat Shah Afridi paid glowing tributes to the valuable and remarkable services and struggle of Minhaj Barna adding that his services would always be the torch bearer for journalists for all times to come. His death marks the end of an era of journalism, he said and added Minhaj Barna never compromised on principles and always adhered to the norms and principles of journalism. Mr Rehmat Shah Afridi said Minhaj Barna had played a pivotal role for the freedom of Press and for the welfare of journalists as well as press workers. The meeting attended by the Editor, Mr Mahmood Afridi, Editorial as well as Press staff offered Fateha for the departed soul and expressed condolences with Mr Mairaj Mohammad Khan, veteran politician, and other members of the bereaved family to bear
